Warhammer is a game that can be played on the kitchen table created by Games Workshop. The game has been around for over 30 years and has no game board to restrict moves. Instead of using a game board, players use rulers and end shooting, combats and battles with rolling dice. By collecting miniature plastic elves, orcs, monsters, and soldiers, you create your own little Warhammer army. The first edition of the Warhammer rule book was released in the fall of 1987.
In 1992 a PC game was released, Space Crusade, it was the first release of the Warhammer 40,000 franchise and a turn-based strategy game that was played on your PC. Since then, many different versions of the games have been released by developers such as THQ, Electronic Arts, Roadhouse Interactive, Gremlin Interactive and Fatshark.
