For all you hardcore gamers out there, no introduction is necessary for Liberty Prime from fan-favorite Fallout. However, for the rest of us, a little bit of a refresher is needed. Liberty Prime, the formidable robot from the Fallout game franchise, is a patriotic masterpiece. He is a U.S. Army robot originally designed to fight Chinese communists. However, after falling into disrepair and disuse, he is several centuries later reprogrammed by the Brotherhood of Steel to fight the Enclave. The Enclave are a post-war continuation of the United States of America except they only look out for their memebers and are quite hostile toward everyone else. Liberty Prime has multiple energy beams that can kill many Enclave soldiers in a single shot and an unlimited supply of explosives to hurl at enemies.
Liberty Prime is the epitome of American Patriotism with his many preprogrammed anti-Communist catchphrases because he believes he is still fighting for the liberation of American soil from Communist invaders. Of course, that programming has been hijacked to make him recognize the Enclave as Communists. Still, Liberty Prime is an amazing feat of engineering and a strong ally in Fallout. He is an essential character and cannot be killed during gameplay. He is a lesson in unrelenting resolve and he always stands for what is right and will not be moved (even if his knowledge of what is right is slightly subjective due to programming.) Those catchphrases make him who he is though and keeping inspiring gamers everywhere.
