Who would have thought a Japanese TV series would become a worldwide sensation? it exactly what happened with the increasingly popular Sailor Moon. In Japanese culture the program was called Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon which became shortened to Sailor Moon in the United States. The series hasn’t been shown since 1997 in Japan but it has been shown in Europe, USA and even Australia since.
